Attire

The wedding ceremony is black tie optional. Feel free to wear a tux, suit, fancy dress, or another outfit that makes you feel ready to celebrate! The ceremony and drinks reception will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Dinner and dancing will be inside the hotel with access to an outdoor patio.

All other events are casual. That said, I will be pretty decked out the whole time and giving my sweatpants at least a two week rest.

Weather

Lake Como, mystical beauty that she is, is home to several microclimates making the weather notoriously hard to predict. In general, the warmest part of the day is in the late afternoon -- we're seeing highs around 65-70F in early October. Forecasts change frequently so don't get too attached to any particular weather report, but come prepared with layers and a warm jacket or coat to keep you cozy as it cools down in the evening. Most events other than the wedding dinner will be outdoors.
